This is a perfect opportunity for him to hit the reset button - fire everyone involved in this childish drama, fire all the dudes you only hired because they were friends with somebody (Cutler, Nakazawa, Luther etc.), reduce the roster dramatically, change the announcers, maybe even change the look/feel of the show a little. 3 years ago, he needed Cody/Bucks/Omega because they were a hot act on the indies and they had a cult-like audience. Today, he doesn't. AEW is its own thing now. Get rid of all that PWG/DDT shit and build around Mox, MJF, Darby, Wardlow etc. Does he have the balls to do it?

>>7143021 This is true. He's needs to take a step back. He should still have the final say, but do the McMahon/Bischoff thing where you have a booker/creative team and you oversee it. Because he's trying to do too much.

Firing CM Punk would be dumb as fuck. The smart thing to do is to turn this into an angle. But I don’t think Tony has the Charisma or the balls to get the involved parties to the table and make them listen to him.

first, he let wrestlers do their own shit. it worked for a time when the roster was small and all that. as it got bigger, he basically took over, all to himself and it obviously just doesn't work. you need people working together and shit lol. Just hire guys who will work with the wrestlers, just like the WWE is, but you get the benefit of not having Vince changing everything last second.

>>7143117 No, fire a bunch of guys you never should have hired in the first place because they are unqualified and only have jobs because of who their friends are.

>>7143151 I'm sure Jericho will be really happy about that. That will only increase the backstage morale

>>7143235 Then fire those shitters too. It's not like Jericho is a draw at this point either.

If he had any balks he'd fire punk and tell ftr to go fuck themselves while their at it.
But its aew, its tony. So no

If this isen't a big work then Tony needs to learn that a boss trying to be best friends with his employees is always a terrible idea.
