If he leaves AEW, is his legacy forever ruined now? At least after the mma failure, there was still the hope he could come back to wrestling. But after burning his last bridge in wrestling what does he have left? Sure maybe he could go to Impact, but they'd neve be able to pay him what he makes now. If he had stayed retired there would always be the "what if" aspect to it, but now that's gone and he ended up looking like a loser.
