So, where the fuck did it go all wrong for AEW and how would you book it differently? I think Punk should've turned heel at DoN vs Hangman. At least they could've worked with the presser then.

Moxley gets the title win at Winter is Coming 2020
Moxley gets the belt for most of 2021
Omega wins the championship from Moxley at the end of 2021
After Danielson Omega send Danielson to NJPW so he can work the G1 and wrestle overseas for awhile
Omega now wins all of the titles from other promotions during 2022
Hangman is the one that beats Omega for the belts at All Out 2022 instead of hotshotting his loss to Christian Cage
Hangman keeps the belt through Forbidden Door and loses it shortly after to MJF
MJF loses it to a returning Bryan Danielson at Full Gear 2023 and blames Wardlow for the loss who gets elevated to the main event scene

There, there was never any need for Punk.

I would say hiring Punk when he was always a known locker room cancer. All friends wrestling wasn’t a bad thing. The more loose nature of AEW is what made it stand out like early TNA did. Tony hiring Punk was Dixie Carter hiring Hulk Hogan
