There are certain legal things that have to be dealt with in firing someone. Take Jimmy Havoc for example. He would have been fired right away when that stuff came out, but he checked into rehab, so TK had to wait until he was out of rehab to fire him. Since Punk was "injured' during a match, TK can't fire him right away, but has to let him heal first before any sort of action can be taken against his employment.

I doubt she was there to help the Bucks confront Punk. Unless she's terrible at her job (which given what we've seen so far from AEW management, is a possibility), there's no way she would OK a bunch of angry dudes going to confront another angry and irrational dude. Even if they were polite when they approached Punk, what were they expecting to get across to him? He was clearly insane and irrational at the scrum just moments before. If Phil was willing to shit on his boss in front of the public, I don't think he'll be willing to listen to anything anyone was about to say to him.
