>>7177269If he comes back, it apparently won't be for 6-9 months due to his injury, in which time a lot of the heat will probably have blown over. Also, he'll probably be coming back as a heel anyway.
>>7177821It was rather muted booing for Hangman from a distinct minority of the crowd. And even that was partly because he was facing Danielson, who many people would like to see win the tournament (IMO, Mox getting a 3rd reign is more likely and makes more sense given that whoever wins will likely be dropping it to MJF sooner rather than later; I'd sooner see Jericho win do Jericho/MJF yet again than give Danielson only a brief title run). Hardly anyone wanted Hangman to go over, but that's more because his title reign was a flop and Danielson is more deserving.
>>7179307Hangman did nothing wrong. He didn't even mention Colt by name: it was an oblique reference that went over the heads of all but the smarkiest smarks at the time. And at the end of the day, Punk is the one still seething about it when everyone else forgot about it three months ago.
>>7177894This. TK could have averted the whole thing by shutting down Punk at the press conference ("media scrum" is such a fucking stupid name for something we already had a perfectly good name for) instead of just sitting there acting like a deer in headlights. Thus he deserved the boos. But hardly anyone was too upset about him vacating the titles (there might have been if he'd only vacated Punk's title and not the trios, although even that would have been a vocal minority).
