Depends on if they bring in Bryan if they don't bring in Punk. He was the real catalyst for the smaller indy guy. After Punk it was Bryan, Claudio, Hero, Mox, Seth etc. people with a decent look and indy experience. Do they hire Sami Zayn, KO, Balor etc. if not for Bryan?

The rock showed you how to build a brand name.

Angle showed real athletes that Wrestling is legit if you crossover and understand it.

They also were responsible for like 90% of the original roster signing there when WWE was snatching up literally anyone and trying to break into every scene. If the bucks don't swear by tony it's just another "some money mark is trying to start a company that's definitely going to get tv bro" story that goes nowhere because no one else signs there. You can say the original guys suck or whatever but they needed them otherwise you'd be left with 60+ minutes of tv to fill with even worse indy guys that just signed up to the only gig they could get. You don't get the best friends or PAC or whoever and the early days of AEW flaws and all never come to pass, as bad as you think the originals might have been they're significantly worse without the bucks or omega. Tony needed those connections especially early.
