I miss the gang warfare feel the show had for a while. Everyone coming out together and having one to five people on the outside. Bringing that back could bring a lot of focus to the show

the problem with aew & ultimately TK is he spent 3 years giving us a preview on what AEW could become. everything from the blood, headshots, swearing, tag matches, hardcore & debuts.

this all absolutely peaked in EO 2021.

2022 has been nothing, they've got everything but can't book for shit.

If anything I think the problem is kinda the opposite. He lets the angles he thinks are the top ones strange the show by taking too much time. And subsequently feel less special. And as much as I do like them I feel FTR need to accept maybe they aren't the focus of the tag scene for the first time in like a year? FTR bald whining if he doesn't get on TV and whining about not getting a chance for the AEW tag belts. My man, you have 3 tag titles, you can kayfabe that you're focusing on defending in Mexico and Japan and Ring of Honor and keeping these belts in AEW. Book a RoH tag match once in a while and just let the other tag teams have a chance to develop. TK 100% made the right call to give it to Swerve in our Glory and feature them heavily with The Acclaimed, the tag scene finally feels like it isn't the FTR show again.

Tier your roster, and have them wrestle accordingly. I know everyone likes playing video games with John Silver, but he doesn't need to be getting any offense on any wrestler whose worth a damn.

Even if they pick all the wrong people at least the show will have some focus.

The problem is he just puts guys together and puts matches on. There's no story planned, there are no contexts or anything. The wrestlers decided what they do together and it's a mess.
He also mismanages the entire production of the show and everything is done badly. He needs to hire people who know what they're doing like myself.

The exact oppossite is his problem. He is too organized with that shit to the point where everyone knows exactly whats going to happen in the feuds
>guy feuds with leader of the faction
>has to go through half the members of said faction (and obviously wins or loses due to interference)
>one of them gets the win at the PPV
>feuds continues
>one of them wins the second match
>the loser goes after one of the members of winning team and feuds with them

Tony doesn't have the balls to control his own employees. This is why Punk has carnied him twice. His "injuries" are just a work so goofy TK will give him more money and more leverage. A smart promoter would have Punk sign a contract where he is required to put someone over or else he wouldn't get his paycheck. Then you book Punk vs Wardlow and have Wardlow squash Punk but promise Punk he'll get 2 rematch and he'll be over Wardlow. Then when the time for Punk to go over, TK does some shenanigans stopping him from getting a W. This would be 2-3 years worth of booking. Why screw Punk? He is old and weak. You don't build a company on something like that. A good promoter will take Punk's shine to put over homegrown talent ASAP. This is what Dana White did and he is one of the best and ruthless promoters ever. That Mickey Gall match was purposely made by Dana. What Punk doesn't know is that Dana talked to his gym Roufus sports and told them to feed Punk's ego so he'll think he can defeat Mickey Gall. It's a classic boxing promoter trick and Dana is well versed in the old tricks.

Expectation: AEW would do believable fights where participants have to follow the rules so that they don't get DQed. Fights will have as little bullshit as possible.

Reality: Referee stops counting to 10 for no reason while Flippy McShitter and Literally Who spend 2 minutes setting up a retarded spot. World champions can just whack the referee in the back with a belt and suffer zero repercussions (see Kenny Omega at Double or Nothing 2021).
