Was it worth around 4 million dollars (according to Tony Khan) just to get a bunch of meaningless belts to bloat up a company that already had too many belts? This is a serious question, was there any positive gain out of this?

If he got the footage it will be good for a wrestling streaming service. If he gets some kind of peacock deal I don’t see them being thrilled about the video and audio quality of early ROH.

I don’t see him being able to revive it. It’s probably hard enough for AEW to get another show. I don’t see how as owner of aew you can pitch a roh show without sounding like you’re telling the network they aren’t good enough for the real show.

Really ROH should just start small at this point. Do what NWA was doing and do a weekly Youtube show from Daily's Place or something and do a mix bigger names and guys you want to build up. Worst case at least the guys will be doing something and you can start getting some experience on some younger hands. This would work better if Tony could stop being a control freak and entrust some older guys like Arn, Tully, Samoa Joe, and such to run it.

This always seemed like the ideal way to have a second brand.
I don't understand why Eric Bischoff just made Thunder more of the WCW. If I was in his shoes and was told to start a second show I would buy AAA, or another small RoH sized promotion, turn that into the second brand, then have WCW guys drop in and give it some real star power.

Peacock has tons of shitty roh, jcp and awa footage it shouldn’t be an issue
