I think Omega is a huge mark for himself, and totally ill equipped to be a top guy in the USA. But I will give him credit. He more then carried the ball when NJPW asked him to. For 50 years, Japanese companies would only shell out the main event money for guys that could top the card anywhere in the world. Besides Johnny Ace, there is no one that the term "Big In Japan" then Ty.
