Wrestling is best as white trash soap opera. Roided out gym bro’s fighting over bimbos and ego. The western economy is down, it has been for a decade. So TV aren’t interested in appealing to the dimeless lower classes. As a result they attempt to appeal to the middle class and above, most of which are still dimeless nobodies larping as moral, but with easier access to debt. Wrestling is difficult to present as high brow moral viewing, so they revert to mimicking capeshit. In the past this worked brilliantly leaning on patriotism and working man job role gimmicks. However neo liberal western governments have shipped jobs to China and pushed divisive wokeism in a successful effort to divide the jobless lower classes. Thus making patriotism a no no. Leaving us with the soulless I’m the bestler in garish pop culture influenced vinyl outfits slop we have now. In short, wrestling will not work again until the western economy recovers and jobs return to the lower classes.
