Honestly I really doubt it had anything to do with that. More like they made 2.0 to try and appeal to the younger audience with the bright colors and women they kept putting on the show. I think they realized that didn't work out or help to bring younger viewers so they're going back to a more uniform NXT without the 2.0 branding. Maybe it will be different or it won't. Maybe that's why they're taping the next week or two so they can find a different direction and go down that direction when the time comes.
