Punk and Steele were both in the wrong and will both be fired when the external investigation is completed.
Steele is probably already fired but they can't release the info publicly yet. Punk had a very large hefty contract that they are going to have to settle on the terms of his release, paying for his current injury, a potential non-compete going forward, etc.
