>>7279502The problem with Bret vs Kurt is that by the time Kurt was a big name, WCW had already killed all of Bret's heat, then he got injured. In a hypothetical scenario where Bret never left the fed, this would be a dimes match for WM 17 or 18 although the feud itself may or may not have been interesting.
The problem with Austin Hogan at WM18 is the Canadian crowd very well may have sided with Hogan even though he would've been the heel. Although Hogan has since redeemed himself by saying nigger on hidden camera, at the time this would've been a travesty. If it were built properly - which is a significant if - and if WM 18 took place in Texas, this would have been the ultimate dimes dream match of all time. Obviously the in-ring action would have been nothing special, but the excitement and story surrounding the match would have more than made up for it.
Idk why there is a WM31 logo for Taker Sting - the streak was already over by then. The year this was rumored was WM 27 and it would have been ding-dong diddly dimes that year. But the ideal year for this would have been WM 22 - the streak had just become a major attraction after 21 with Orton, they were both younger and Sting didn't wear a t-shirt yet.
Eddie vs Shawn at WM 22 probably would have been very entertaining and it would have been interesting to see that feud play out. The issue with this as a "dream match" is that I couldn't see many people being emotionally invested in who wins or loses.
