AEW (and WWE) are realizing that producing content aimed at "smart" wrestling fans is the easiest way to attract more viewers. We, on the whole, can't help but sperg out about shit like this and maybe rope in a few more eyeballs to watch here and there. WWE has gotten all of this white rabbit hype going without ever mentioning it on TV (until tonight). They're finally catching on that we're a gateway to the lapsed fan, and it's working out in their favor. Don't expect this to change anytime soon.
