Christian is the Gold standard of what people should be when they have a career elsewhere. Dude was made a immediate NWA champ and you know what? He was CONSISTENTLY putting out better stuff in TNA than he was in the WWE. Memorable matches, good promos, making himself look like a star. Cody and also Moxley are also a fine examples. Maybe not match quality, but the Rhodes was everywhere post release from WWE and for almost every spot in every company he worked for, he's earned his spot by putting in the time and effort. Black in AEW is no different than the guy who was doing stuff at Full Sail back in 2018.
