The reason why the tv matches used to be shorter is because they fucking sucked and would have bored the audience into turning the channel. Now they don’t care to keep an audience entertained, and it’s easier to have 20 minute snorefests than to come up with something creative or intriguing

And that's why Paul is such a hack, fuck having promos, vignettes, characters to build up to a match or establish a wrestler because that takes effort. Here's a match! Doesn't matter why it's happening or what the stakes are, just watch this great match! And if you disagree with that then you just want everything to be 2000 WCW. You can have good wrestling on the wrestling show, just give me a reason to care about these people and their matches
