It led to them turning him heel. His heel run during the pandemic was him as a sort of cult leader with a Messiah complex that gradually became more and more unhinged. Over time he dropped the cult and Messiah complex but kept the insanity and now he's sort of a high functioning psychopath but the eccentric and sometimes comedic kind of psychopath like the Joker as opposed to the quiet American Psycho kind of psychopath like what Orton used to do years back

Rotten tomatoes etc can't be trusted and they have alot more reviewers (reviewers, not shitposters with a subscription)

I say this because the fiend was always a garbage gimmick but of course wrestling is subjective and I wouldn't call the fiend objectively shit because he clearly appeals to some people.
