I discussed this with a few of my fellow wrestling/Nintendo fans, and we came up with that if Anthony Bowens and Max Caster, known as the AEW tag team The Acclaimed, were Pokemon trainers, they'd have two main "ace" Pokemon. Playing to their "scissor" hype up before matches, Bowens would have a Pokemon that could use X-Scissor, much like Scyther or the aptly-named Scizor. Caster, meanwhile, would have a Pokemon that could pump up the bass for his raps, so something like Loudred or Exploud.
Seeing as they just became champions, I could see them arriving at the Pokemon League and dropping a dis on every member of the Elite Four before Bowens shouts out "POKEMON LEAGUE! THE ACCLAIMED! HAVE ARRIVED! X-SCISSOR ME, DADDY ASH!"
I sadly have garbage talent for artwork in visual form, so I can only pass on my imaginative ideas to others here. I'd love to see it actually become an image one day, but for now I hope you all got a chuckle out of my idea for an alternate universe Acclaimed.
