I seem to remember in the early days of pro-wrestling discussion on /asp/ that newfags liked to ask about the WrestleMania 30 era because at the time that was seen as the last time the business was in a downturn (I think opinion has changed slightly though - partly due to podcasts praising the quality of matches and feuds in the WWE at the time.) People would mention that Bryan was the lowest drawing champion of all time, something that Keller liked to repeat as well. This set off a certain man who spammed statistics from Bryan's time as WWE champion.
Was it a reaction to that?
