No. Bret had people on his side in the locker room, that were against the Kliq. Bret also made stars, whether he was putting them over or beating them. Bret also didn't have a problem losing clean to people outside of Shawn Michaels. Way above Phil though Bret was original. Phil stole Kenta's move-set, quit, and then went on to plagiarize bits from Bret Hart's greatest hits.
