I never understood the marketing behind this match. What is the reasoning behind it. What makes it the greatest? What makes it greater than say Roman vs Brock, or Rock vs Austin. There is no way they truly believe it's the greatest, but what is the kayfabe way they explained it.

Yeah this is it. It had like 4 minutes taken away apparently, and redone spots spliced in rather obviously. No reason to not do it in the covid era I suppose but you can't really rate a match when you can't physically see the whole match.
