Why couldn't Punk defend his title against Mox and lose it in the ring with a torn tricep like Cody? Is it Cody is an actual tough guy and Punk is just an all-talk, fake tough guy? Or is a torn tricep much harder to work with?

Mick took sick bumps and probably got a few concussions too, also, Taker started the match with a broken foot in a cast under his boot. Which was why Mick took most of the bumps in that match to begin with.
You can see when he lands in this part of the match how he is in pain but tries to not sell it.
