Steve Austin praises Kenny Omega after being asked who he thinks has breakout heel potential in the business today:
"As far as old school heels go, thats gonna be hard.. I dont really see anybody, as far as WWE goes.
Now he's not an old school heel but [Kenny Omega] is.. I dont wanna call him new school because he's a veteran... He's edgy, he can work his ass off, he lays his s*** in. Everything looks good. His psychology is off the charts. When I watch that guy, I'm like 'Hey man. When is this guy having another high profile match because I wanna watch it'.
He's really a guy that I've had my eye on because I dont watch enough[of AEW] but when that guy has a high profile match, I will watch because he is that good.
Such a well rounded, such a believable guy that when he starts talking his s*** I'm like Holy Smoke. This guy is lights out.. I think this guy is gonna be the next big star in the United States.
He jumps off the page at ya! He's not the biggest guy in the world but he jumps off the page at ya. And all of a sudden when he starts talking its like "Hey man. This guy is different."
You know this guy is a star. I just think he's a great entertainer and a great wrestler. Thats what you have to be."
