Deep down Adam Page knows he is a fraud, an asshole that no one likes outside the Elite clique, and only tolerated because he is so desperate for power and prestige that he'll be Omega and the Bucks bitch boy... so long as he gets the power from being said bitch boy to lord over other more talented and deserving folk.
There's a reason why Adam Pearce/Ring of Honor shitted all over Page early in his career. Page is a huge fucking asshole that things his shit doesn't smell and that he's better than other veteran wrestlers. A syndrome that he shares with Omega and the Bucks.
Trust me, Page is a thousand times worse than Punk. He is super bitter that his run as champion was treated like an afterthought ala Punk's infamous run as WWE champion where he was made to be subservient to Cena still hogging the main event spot with his feuds. Let alone Khan pulling an audible and yanking the title off of him. Ten gets you twenty he's now working Khan over big time to try and screw MJF over by getting the belt back and then pushing to make MJF lose the title, on the basis of "teaching MJF a lesson" for getting uppity over his contract and how he got a crappy contract compared to Page and Moxley and other top card guys.
