He really should be put way high up. He practically made puro in the 90s with Muta, Chono, Misawa, Liger form his work decades prior. His endeavours in shoot style lead to the whole MMA sport catching on. That alone can't be understated enough. Without him and Maeda splitting NJPW in the 80s, MMA would have perhaps never come about or at least come along much later.
