I don't know why people make a big deal out of that. They're on the floor as if they were going to get counted out, but he just crawls over and puts his hand on him. Wrestling fans don't actually get wrestling, it's only about who looks strong, who's buried, whatever. Watching the clip now, it's obvious HHH barely won, he was pushed to his absolute limit and couldn't even manage a pin. Booker T was equally exhausted, and had just eaten a pedigree.

Feel like you should have Booker kick out, weary Haitch sets him up for the pedigree again, Booker gets a shot in as he's being picked up, Haitch ducks Booker's beleaguered jumping heel kick and then hits a final pedigree for the win with a quicker cover. Crowd's still gonna be disappointed but if you're dead set on Haitch winning then the final hope spot at least has some heat in there.
