JBL vs. Taker got three of the loudest reactions of the night. Problem was that none of them had to do with the match. During the first series of submission/rest holds (around 4 minutes in I guess), a section managed to get the wave going around the arena. The crowd got really, really loud, as it went around 5-7 times
Benoit vs. Orton was great. Kinda reminiscent of Hogan vs. Warrior as the crowd loved both men and was just totally into the match as a pure competition. One lame note was the You Screwed Bret chant. I'm going to have to go to a show in the states one time, just so I can watch an event without hearing that damn chant. Huge pop for the clean finish. The match definitely made both men look great, but especially Orton as he truly looks like a main event player. The handshake at the end got the biggest pop of the night
Angle and Guerrero was exactly what you would expect, only better. They told a great story for the whole match and everything made sense. Some of
the fans started chanting boring due to lack of interest in both men however.
Triple Threat was great. I loved the booking, as did the rest of the crowd, as they avoided the usual problem of three way matches (guy A pins guy B; guy C breaks up pin; wash, rinse, repeat). The crowd was actually booing Edge big time for most of the match. Finish was perfectly executed though and the crowd popped big for the pin. Jericho got a great reaction. There was a big "we want Christian" Chant during this match.
Only pre PPV match was RVD vs. Dupree RVD got a big pop, and it seems like the Crowd was trying to send a message to management to push this guy.
