Everything leading up to that was fantastically done. They got over as more than just comedy guys because of them and the Gunns splitting up and the feud between them, with Daddy Ass sticking with the Acclaimed in the end. I watch AEW with some marks that react like this shit is still real to them and they ate that shit up.
