That there's some pencil-necked geek in the back who's pissed and desperately pushing the bleeper button to "maintain decency", keep the show from being cancelled or w/e. And the guys swearing are too hardcore to care. Contrast letting them audibly say the words over and over with no consequence. It becomes repetitive and boring.
