He took his gimmick from Superstar Billy Graham right down to bragging about his bicep size and being a bald bleached blonde. Everything that Vince Jr and Hogan did in the 80's was built by Vince Sr and guys like Superstar. And I'm not shitting on Vince Jr and Hogan, they are both legends, but to say Hogan built the business is going too far. Also, Hogan destroyed WCW. Sure, they got like two years or ratings wins, but in order to get that, Hulk had to put himself over the entire WCW roster resulting in WCW cutting bait with Stone Cold, Haitch, Foley, Pillman, Jericho, Eddie, Benoit, Dustin Rhodes, Malenko and Rey Mysterio ... basically the whole attitude era except the Rock and Michaels. Hogan was a good performer, but he left wrestling in worse shape than he found it.
