it's not even remotely close to being the same. WWE ran vignettes for Emma (an already established wrestling) for weeks and weeks, just like they did with Veer. Both of which fell completely flat on their face. Paige VanZant was never advertised for anything more than what she participated in.

Dude they literally made a whole thing out of her signing her contract on national TV, that absolutely creates the expectation of her being a part of the division going forward.
