The more I think about it, Kenny Omega's first reign as AEW Champion was disappointing outside of the high quality of the matches.

Who did he beat? Joey Janella, Fenix, Jungleboy, Rich Swann, Christian, Orange Cassidy and PAC?

They could have come up with better challengers than this.

Kenny's reign was by far the best in match quality, number of challengers, and quality of challengers, he also had the best segments on tv and the best promos, everything he did with Don was hilarious especially the build to the Hangman match. Not to mention he did all of that while severely hurt

Christian was an antidimes shitter who was coasting off the first rampage buzz and got no reaction when it counted - the payperview main event.
