The problem is he's tried this exact same thing before with a number of other wrestlers like Darby and Wardlow but then pussied out when it came time to actually pull the trigger on them so now they're both buried and heatless, floundering in the midcard.
>>7462837This, being small doesn't help, but being bland and generic is a death sentence. Notice how nobody bitches about Darby Allin when they're complaining about short/skinny guys in wrestling. He actually has an interesting gimmick which goes hand in hand with his genuinely reckless in ring style. You can't watch an episode of Dynamite without seeing 100 outside dives but Darby is the only guy who makes it look like he's genuinely throwing caution to the wind and actually trying to harm his opponent when he does it. His wrestling style gets his gimmick over and makes him look convincingly tough despite his size.
