WCW ever being better for any length of time was always smark bullshit, and then became parroted by people who weren't watching at the time because that's the narrative that smark dirtsheet writers pushed. It's incredible how fast the NWO angle became stale. From mid-1997 on WWF was easily better. Goldberg was genuinely the only thing keeping WCW competitive until 1999.

I just started watching this series this week on YouTube, I think it’s episode 7 or so Hogan and Savage cut a promo at like a basketball court in Venice beach or something, they are hanging with a literal homeless man who doesn’t even seem to realize he’s being filmed and is just making strange noises it’s completely bonkers, also Hogan is in all black with no facial hair
