Advertise wardlow open challenge with a promo package the week before. Have geeks like Avalon and Nemeth tweet about it and talk about it on Dark. Before the commercial show all the geeks arguing backstage about who gets to answer, showing that people want the title. After commercial Wardlow comes out and the crowd are prepared to see him because you gave them anticipation 5 minutes ago and a week ago. He waits for his challenger for 20 seconds and there's nothing. Camera cuts backstage where all the geeks are wiped out. Prince Nana and his new hoss faction come out. One of the other guys challenges Wardlow and it's a competitive hoss battle that elevates the no name guy.
Wardlow can now go through this group for a month or so and you can build them up for ROH by showing they are competitive with the unbeatable big guy in AEW and it gives all of them something to do and actually is something to care about.
