What a dumpster fire. Can one honest AEW fan admit how low AEW has fallen? Punk accelerated the downfall but the signs were there since day 1 when they made the marks in the ring EVPs and day 100 when they kept signing every WWE shitter Vince fired.

This is cope. I was a huge AEW fan but like op said the more wwe guys they signed made them feel not like an alternative anymore and the show has sucked for months now. Should have stuck to their starting roster and homegrown talent while signing a few big names from wwe I’m talking like Danielson, Cole, Malakai, Miro. That’s it. Kahn doesn’t know how to book long term, he does short term for the pop then people will be taken off tv for weeks/months. That makes the product cold and the wrestlers seethe because it’s shit booking. As far as people talking about AEW? Fuck no. I work with a bunch of wrestling fans and nobody besides me gives a fuck about AEW especially since Triple H took charge. And if you mention wrestling to a non fan they have no idea what the fuck AEW is or that it even existed.

People are underestimating what the Covid era did, when TK suddenly was basically forced to basically reuse private party in singles every other week he clearly developed the mindset that having too many guys is better than too few. Now he needs to get better kayfabe angles for why someone isn't on TV for a few weeks or why they seem to be doing less/less important stuff. FTR should have cut a promo bigging up them focusing on defending the IWGP, AAA and RoH belts, so they're holding off going for the AEW title saying shit like "Whoever wins those belts is just keeping them warm" fucking ages ago to build up to when they actually get more focus again. Not whining about not being the focus right now.

I’ve watched it every week with three friends for two and a big years now. AEW peak was in 2021 before Punk and Danielson debuted AEW had a great momentum

It is sad what this company became in 2019, there was a lot of Hype, everyone thought it would be WCW 2.0 and that another Wrestling boom would arise is a shame AEW was the last opportunity to have a competition to WWE and they flopped

It's not like they don't have any draws. Because he sincerely and full-heartedly believed that wrestling was dead and there would never again in his lifetime arise a legitimate competitor to WWE, to the point where Jim Cornette recommended anyone not already super invested in professional wrestling just get into MMA/UFC instead, like a disillusioned weeb saying China/South Korea are taking over.
