Russo threw a lot at the wall, and some of it stuck. Good for him. But the AE wouldn't exist without Austin and his rivalry with Vince. Without that, WCW wins the war. And speaking of, just look at the shit show WCW turned into once Russo left, while WWF reached new heights.
I don't hate Russo. He deserves credit for some of the fun angles he came up with. But he was not responsible for WWF's success nor for the Attitude Era itself.
