If they wanted to actually be original, what they could do is make it work like a slot machine. You cash in the coin and the titantron rolls three wheels for what you get. Some results are good, some are bad. The best result is a championship match. The worst result is going bust and losing the chip entirely. Then you have things in-between like getting suspended or having a non-championship match.
