Actual heat is where you aren't wishing for their departure, you just want to see them get their ass kicked, in a match. It's a heel's job to inspire the audience to rally against him in favor of his opponent, who should be the face everyone wants to cheer for and see win. The point is to draw people to spend money to see matches to watch the heel lose and face win.
