OC is basically a generic lazy stoner/drunk hipster character. He wears a jeneric denim jacket, not a custom made satin fabric jacket like Gosling wears (or Sam wore when he was channeling Drive and Hotline Miami on the indie scene after leaving Impact).
Character-wise, OC started up as a comedy character: Fire Ant sending up drunk hipsters he knew in high school that didn't talk and came to school hung over. The character existed solely because OC didn't own the Fire Ant gimmick, so if he wanted to work non-Chikara shows, he had to create his own persona that he not Quackenbush owned outright.
As he got older and not wanting to bust his neck doing high flying shit, He changed his OC character to be a comedy guy who's gimmick was that he was super lazy and did "play wrestling shit" like his "kicks" but having ring announcers sell said play wrestling as "deadly moves" for comedic effect; especially when opponents no-sold them. He also perfected being able to do gymnastic routines while his hands stayed in his pants pocket, for further gimmicky fun in his matches.
