...1) All the significance here is for Cody, none for Roman. It's very lopsided. With the others, it's significant for Roman
(Theory: The Big Bad Roman ruled with an iron fist, no good guy could beat him. In the end Roman vanquished every hero, there were no more heroes to challenge him. So of course the only guy who ever could beat him was another bad guy, a newer, younger, hungrier, even worse bad guy than him. It's a classic trope.)
(Wyatt: Similar to ^, although the Fiend isn't outright a bad guy. More of a monster/supernatural entity. But yeah, no good guy, no mere mortal hero could beat him. Only a supernatural spoopy force could. Plus it ties back to how Roman won it in the first place, stealing it from the most over guy in the company.)
(Seth: as explained above, it goes way back, it's the running theme, Seth is Roman's kryptonite, pottery that only Seth (as a bad guy or tweener) could dethrone Roman)
But with Cody, there's little significance for Roman. It's entirely about Cody, coming back to WWE, proving HHH and Vince wrong, >muh dad etc. Cody's comeback story is a great one, but it almost doesn't line up with the story of Big Bad Roman's reign of terror ending. They feel like two different stories, they don't really mesh....
