Not really a rule, but I hate when wrestlers leave the ring under the bottom rope in a battle royale. It's confusing to remember who is out and who isn't.

the past few years this has happened way too many times and the commentary table and has to beat us over the head a thousand times saying, "HE DID NOT GO OVER THE TOP, HE'S STILL IN IT!"

Rope breaks when the wrestlers just lean against the ropes or in the corners (I really hate this one).
Punches being illegal (you can use kicks, knees, elbows, forearms to hit almost any part of your opponent's body, but not punches???).
Air chokes being illegal.

I hate triple threat matches when one pinfall wins the match. Elimination is better.

I hate those random tag matches where the partners always end up getting tagged in and facing each other.

I hate how easy and advantageous DQ’s are to ending a match. It’s really dumb.

I hate how the belt doesn’t change on a DQ so it’s in the champion’s interest to get DQ’d.

DQ’s need harsher penalties.

I hate that cages have a door you can walk through to win the match.

I hate how retarded the refs are and how they’re so easily manipulated and abused.

Punches being illegal makes sense if you're trying to protect the business. Anyone that has been in a fight knows that punching someone in the face without any protection is a good way to break your hand. That's why boxers wear gloves and wrap their hands underneath the gloves. Also it's to keep wrestling closer to a wrestling match rather than a mix of boxing and wrestling. I agree that kicks to the head should be illegal too though, if only because of how devastating these can be and should lead to knockouts.

All real sports have time limits, particularly when they're on TV in a set time slot. Pro wrestling is a worked sport that presents itself as a real sporting contest. Time limits add to that veneer.

Tag teams in general kind of suck. Tornado and elimination tags can be more interesting, but you have to specify what it is every time you do one, and it's always gay when a match type's name is really long like: no-DQ tornado tag-team elimination match.
