Ironically the whole thing could have been papered over if they had just downplayed Cena/Rock II and made Undertaker/Punk the main event (and be willing to tell Rock to fuck off and tell Cena to eat shit as far as not getting his win back) and have Punk end the streak.
As it stands, it fucked shit up as Punk went on hiatus after WM and Vince had to beg him to come back, as ratings and interest collapsed after Mania 2013 and allowed Hunter to slither back in and push the Authority storyline.
