It’s a good example of a company making the most of the one-hour weekly TV they had. There were some episodes that tried to be like your traditional TV taping wrestling companies usually do, but often they would just stitch together the cool highspots or the closing moments of some big match or angle that took place over the previous week. You were always just jumping into the middle of shit, and it was usually kino.

Honestly? As much as I loved ECW I would just tell you no. I used to watch it before it even had a tv deal on those public access channels. It would come on super late though I think it was 1:00 AM on Fridays or weekends can't remember. I still like it but no need for you to watch it since you'd find something to complain about instead. I guess you can say it didn't age well.

Mike Awesome was shoot amazing back in the early 90s. Go look at him in FMW and you will see the guy was way too fast and way to spry for a man that big. It was legit amazing the shit he could do before he sawdusted himself. 93-96 Gladiator Mike was peak before he started to slow down.

There's probably some good matches. I know Tanaka and Awesome had at least 1 match TNN.

Ultimately if you want to rewatch ECW you're better off sticking to the PPVs. But if you're looking to watch good wrestling only watch ECW after you've exhausted all the territories, All Japan from the late 80s-mid 90s, AJW from the early 80s-the late 90s, and NOAH until 2009.
