dude has no fundamentals
as someone who learned drums self-taught (aside from some youtube "teachers" and shit), being self-taught it generally a terrible idea because you develop bad habits you dont notice, you don't know the basic rudiments because they were boring so you skipped them, which causes you to get stuck in your progression a lot easier
im still a decent drummer, albeit inconsistent as fuck as well as having trouble wish rushing/dragging, so goddamn i wish i had started with an in person drum teacher
