I think we don't need extreme rules or hell in a cell every year desu. even survivor series has started to feel a bit antiquated with how often we have cross brand appearances, especially right now with 1 man holding the main title for both brands

Less gimmick PPVs are fine. The PPVs ' existence always felt like it devauled the match. I remember when WWE was celebrating the first women's Hell in a Cell match as a big accomplishment when in kayfabe it's a super brutal stipulation that only happens when the feud gets to a point where each wrestler wants to kill each other.

Good, wrestling isn't a game show, gimmick PPVs have got to go.

As for survivor series. Those first shows, where it's all elimination tags are really good showcases for the talent and a lot of fun. I don't know if they work without all the big 80s personalities but it's worth shot.

Good on both counts. Having something like Hell in a Cell be an annual PPV completely kills the gimmick. HIAC should be reserved for the ending of only the most bitter of rivalries, not just carelessly tacked on because it's the name of the PPV
