Thoughts on Stardom crowds seeming to just be supportive of both at once

In post-COVID shows (no cheering ones), I've noticed the crowd reactions are:

claps for both wrestlers/teams

claps every time someone (either side) kicks out / gets rope break / gets back in from count / etc

claps along when either side's stablemates work the crowd (the rhythmic clap/mat pound thing)

Basically regardless of whoever is in the ring, the crowd seems neutrally supportive of both sides (or I guess the fans of both clap for their favorite wrestler/stable and make no other noises so it comes to that net effect?)

I started going back a bit through older pre-COVID matches and there definitely is a different feel when they were allowed to cheer (mainly shout their favorite's name?) but didn't notice if it was different in terms of the "supporting both at once" feel.

I watched a lot of 90s / early 00s joshi and don't remember this being the norm.

It's also such a contrast to the way crowds feel in even NJPW shows in the US.

Is it mainly because of the clapping-only thing or was it always like this in Stardom because different fans can just be fans of different stables?
