Moxley and Jericho were both gets. They are both doing shit that is beyond what they were doing in their last WWF runs and they really do put something in on the shows. Billy Gunn is actually trying to help get guys over. Sting coming back was a welcome surprise, especially when he started working matches, because the way his WWF run ended was an unbelievably bad way to close out such a lengthy run. Bryan Danielson was worth signing because he still has some gas left in the tank and his name still has some mystique to it.
That's five guys they picked up that have added significantly to their main roster. Meanwhile Adam Cole, Kyle O'reily, Daniel Garcia, the Jericho goon with a coke problem, Bobby Fish, Big Show, Mark Henry, Andrade, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Queef Pee, Claudio, Big Cass (with no nZo??) and more names that are so irrelevant I can't even remember them are all contributing jack shit and making it into WWElite. You can't literally sign everyone Vince releases and put them on TV like that.
I remember when a shitty debut was Butcher & Blade showing up with no explanation except Excalibur yelling their names a lot. At least those were two guys I had never heard of and they eventually grew on me. Now a shitty debut is "i got fired from NXT last week, here is a promo and ill work two main events before vanishing"
