If the wrestling is good you should be able to suspend disbelief that it's fake and have fun watching it. Do you think the crowds in the territory days gave a fuck? They saw a bunch of tough guys beating the shit out of each other. Do you think the Attitude Era fans gave a fuck? They bought into it and believed it because the storytelling was good. AEW is the type of wrestling that constantly nudges you in the shoulder to make sure you're in on the joke. I'm not a Cornettefag but he's right on the money with his assessment that AEW makes a mockery out of the business.
