Attacking and pissing off the majority of the audience for no reason didn't help, but the whole thing was doomed from the start. Hiring 200+ people to work for a new tv channel that's just an old channel from 15 years ago was never going to be successful in the era of youtube and twitch.

It wasn't even a "channel". The actual G4 channel went back to running re-runs 24/7 with the occasional Twitch rebroadcast. Imagine getting a Twitch channel cancelled. There are poor faggots streaming to 2 people everyday that lasted longer than G4 did.
